If your only on volume 12 then you should only judge once you finished the story, and you should read redundancy becuase only 3 chapters are dedicated to the topic you dont like and the rest is not so dont give up on the entire thing just beucase 3 out of 30 chapter are not to your liking.

And relationships are almost always complicated and many times they are also hateful.

And mushoku tensei world is not like our own, it has different values and rules. part of what makes the story great in my opinion is that it feels like a different world and not a shity copy paste of our world with magic in it.

But i too find Aisha and Ars relationship to be in bad taste, but as of now its not canon so it does not matter.

I have read a much more dreadful novel than this anyway but I don’t know why I find Mushoku Tensei so uncomfortable. It’s the Profane Prince of Domination where he had sex with over 16 000 woman including his mother and daughter. Haha. That was one hell out of a story if you know it but still this Mushoku Tensei gives me a different vibe. Sorry if I offend you with my words.

Yo! I finished reading Jobless Reincarnation, and I’m fucking satisfied already. Though Rudy’s character development is a bit disappointing because he kept being portrayed as a coward, it’s still alright. Honestly, this is a very good story. But really frustrates me haha. I really wish I did not read the spoilers because that’s what caused my frustration. The ending is already to my satisfaction and I’m not going to read the Redundancy chapters because it will cause me more frustration. It’s time to end this story and move to a new one haha. Thank you for your opinions. I’m still a little bit conflicted because as a reader, I really want all the good stuff to the Mc, because who doesn’t? The MC receives the best benefits, that’s what I always believe and the pattern in a novel. Like Arifureta, though he suffered, Hajime has 8 wives, and I don’t know why but the NTR doesn’t bother me. Hah, thank you and sorry for me being biased. Everything is for my own satisfaction and enjoyment.

Yeah me too, to be honest, I don't really like it when the author decided to continue the story but based on MC's children, It's just like Boruto stuff and once I read the story especially until how many volumes, I just want the story to stick into MC which is Rudeus. I also really really hate it when there is rape/sex slaves stuff in the story, it really frustrated me because I always greatly sympathize with the story, the problem is that rape and sex slave kinds of stuff are everywhere in this story. I also like it when I get to see MC being the strongest, I wanted Rudeus to be the strongest and at least 2nd strongest because Orsted is OP as f, but Rudeus basically can't beat swordsman 1v1 cuz he is a mage, I know his power is party type but I really want him to be the 2nd strongest. I also saw how many tragic backstories about fat ugly b**tard raping people and something like Norn and Ruijerd and also Ars and Aisha, I was like what the F is going on, some moments are just not for me I guess since I'm really sympatetic.

All that controversy around Mushoku Tensei has really made me realize how desensitized I am around topics relating to pedophilia (and relationships in general). Anyhow, here's my contribution to the topic: "Would you say that Ruijerd is a pedophile?"

No, he fell in love with Norn when she was already of age (+17) so i dont see how that's being a pedophile.

The word Pedophile gets thrown around too much. People should really learn to look up the definition of a word before using it.
