The anime, which has a total of 23 episodes, has been divided into two parts. The first part ended on March 21 with episode 11. The second part (episode 12 - 23) will start from July and extend up to September.

With the turn of events in Episode 8, I think viewers can now expect a fair amount of surprising events. That being said, I doubt a first timer will be able to imagine the absolute emotional roller coaster ride Mushoku is (especially if the anime reaches the latter volumes).
