Classes refer to titles or professions bestowed upon a person or a group that gives them their role or function in a party or even a country.
Although some Classes are granted by teachers or masters of a certain school, people has their personal freedom to call themselves whatever they wish and can also hold more than one title or class.[1]
Swordsman[]
- Swordsmen (剣士 Kenshi) are sword users who are affiliated with one of the three major schools of swordsmanship: Sword God Style, Water God Style and North God Style.[1]
Warrior[]
- Warriors (戦士 Senshi) can refers to practitioners who use swords but their sword styles are outside of the three major schools such as Randolph Marianne who uses the Sword of Bewitching swordsmanship. Even within the three major schools, if they don't use swords, they are still called Warriors[1] such as Elinalise Dragonroad who uses an estoc and buckler, Ruijerd Superdia who uses a spear and even Kalman II who uses a staff despite being the second North God.
Knight[]
- Knights (騎士 Kishi) are people that serve under a kingdom, a lord's employment or part of a knight order. Most knights come from nobility and has high pride. Some knights are also educated that knows language and math and some also know simple magic.[1]

Lower Class Knight[]
- Lower Class Knights are knights that are recognized "bodyguards" of the kingdom who are assigned by a lord of the kingdom to defend villages far from the capital from Monsters and serve as a mediator between villagers or farmers like Paul Greyrat who is assigned in Buena Village.[4]
Guardian Knight[]
- Guardian Knights are knights from spare children of powerful nobilities who protects the Royal family. When an assassin is sent they die bravely to protect their the royal family, in a sense a sacrificial pawn while the child's parents grieve exaggeratedly on how brave their child was. The royal family acknowledges their grief by sending a medal of honor as recompense and to deepen their bonds between the nobility and the royal family.[5]
Magician[]
- Magicians (魔術師 Majutsu-shi) are individuals who possess the ability to use Magic and cast Magic Spells. It has been stated that only 1 in 20 people are born with the capacity to using Mana. Moreover, out of those individuals, only 1 in 20 can learn to master it and become a Magician. However, only 1 in 100 of those is actually capable of becoming advanced Magicians in only one element. The magician's ranking title is determined by the most advanced spell that a magician could cast.
Guardian Magician[]
- Guardian Magicians are magicians who are also spare children of powerful nobilities to protect the Royal Family. Guardian Magician are generally paired with Guardian Knights. Although the Guardian Magician are given to those of the upper nobilities, Ariel insists that Sylphiette who saved her life replace his Derrick who gave his life to protect her.[5]
Adventurer[]
- Adventurers (冒険者 Bōken-sha) are individuals who accept quests categorized by the level of threat within the Adventure Guild. They receive rewards for completing these quests and can also sell materials obtained from Monsters or treasures found in dungeons. By registering with the Adventure Guild, which is always present in large towns, individuals can become adventurers, accept quests, and form parties with other adventurers.
Roles[]
When forming a party, roles are assigned for each member which determines their position on the formation and tasks they are responsible for in the party.[6]
Scout[]
- Scout (スカウト Sukauto) is a role generally fulfilled by an Archer[7] or Thief and when it comes to exploring an uncharted labyrinths, they position ahead of the party to look out traps or provide intel of incoming enemies like their numbers and also uses various tools to ensure their party does not fall to any traps or be overwhelmed by enemies like having a marker on their boots to confirm its a safe place to step in for the party.[8] They are also generally in charge of navigation and map charting.[9] When a retreat is called by the party, Scouts would also assist in the retreat such as using Smoke Grenades to obscure their retreat and also ensure everyone is falling back.[10]
Tank[]
- Tanks (タンク Tanku) are roles fulfilled by Swordsmen or Warriors where they take the frontline to engage the enemy first while the rest move to position or draw their fire to prevent them from attacking their healers and attackers in the back line as they have the means to handle a head on attack to provide an opening for the Attackers to finish off their enemy.[8]
Subtank[]
- Subtanks (サブタンク Sabutanku) are roles also fulfilled by Swordsmen or Warriors where they either position behind the Tank to assist them as a secondary attacker to disengage an enemy, an additional tank or at the rear to guard from ambushes from the back line.[8]
Attackers[]
- Atackers (アタッカー Atakkā), also known as Offense are generally positioned where the Tank or Subtank can protect them and the role is taken by classes who can generally perform medium to long range attacks like a Magician or an Archer who deal the finishing attack on enemies engaged by the Tank or Subtank. When a retreat is called, Attackers also provide support like the Scout as the tanks disengage their enemy or provide distractions or other hindrance to prevent their enemy from pursuing them to ensure a successful retreat.[10]
Healer[]
- Healers (ヒーラー Hīrā) is a role generally performed by Priests (僧侶 Sōryo), clerics or anyone one who can use Healing Magic to support their party. In Millishion, most people stops learning Healing Magic upon reaching Elementary Rank and those that reach Intermediate Rank Healing Magic usually are eligible to work at hospitals.[11]
Thief[]
- Thieves (泥棒 Dorobō) are generally members of a bandit group that conducts their business with information gathering, smuggling, search requests, slave trades, assassination requests and other underground business.[12] When in a party, they take the roles of scouting, sabotaging their enemies before engaging the party, looking out for traps or hidden rooms.

Mercenary[]
- Mercenary (傭兵 Yōhei) are groups or people that completes a request of a "client" regardless of factions such as acting as their bodyguards for a certain period of time or a condition of the contract is met which is in a sense similar to Adventurers but more focused on combat. Mercenaries generally supports all their clients equally and without discrimination in order to avoid themselves from becoming a faction.[13] During wars, a kingdom's branch of the Adventure Guild can also conscript adventurers to act as mercenaries where the pay is higher but the fatality rate is ridiculous.[14]

Miko[]
- Mikos (
神子 Miko, lit. "Blessed Child") are individuals born with "beneficial" Curses. On the other hand, Cursed Ones (呪子 Noroi-ko, lit."Cursed Child") are born with disadvantageous or harmful curses. It's important to note that even Miko powers can have drawbacks or disadvantages for the user. If they are not royalty, Mikos have their birth name stripped and are forced to work for the kingdom they were born into.

- "God" is a title that indicates the pinnacle of a Sword School, Magic, or Race. Non-magicians are called 「 」 Gods[15], and in the case of Magicians, they are called God-ranked 「 」[16] Magicians[17]. The same goes for those of the Saint, King or Emperor-ranked[18].

Slave[]
- Slaves are people who are generally sold to slave market form various reasons such as: those orphaned during a war, sold by their parents when crop harvests failed to save the family or voluntarily done to save the family or those who are unable to pay their debts. Unlike Millis Continent and Southern Central Continent, most countries in the north has legalized slave trade and is a key part of their economy while there also rumors that slave trade is also done by the Thieves' Guild that smuggle these slaves to various government to serve as cannon fodder during war.[21]
- Slaves are also marked with a brand or magic seal to ensure they won't escape nor attack their master but this is at the choice of their owners.[22]
Bard[]
- Bards, also known as Troubadours is a profession where they perform on a pub's stage to sing, play music for tips. In bigger cities, bards sign exclusive contracts with theaters. Adventurers can also become bards by turning their experiences into music or from fellow adventurers. Bards who share similar interests also tends to form parties and perform around the world especially if they specialize in different instruments.[23]

- Demon Lord (魔王 Maō, lit. "Demon King") are some exceptionally powerful individuals among the Demon Race that become rulers of a certain region on the Demon Continent.
