Emergency Family Meeting (緊急家族会議 Kinkyū Kazoku Kaigi) is the fourth episode of the Mushoku Tensei anime series originally broadcasted on January 31, 2021.

Synopsis

The Greyrat family is overjoyed when Zenith announces that she's pregnant with a second child, but the mood takes a dour turn when Lilia reveals that she is also pregnant and Paul is the father. Will this be the end of Rudy's happy family?

Plot

The Greyrat family is at joy when they learn that Zenith is pregnant again but their happiness is cut short when their maid Lilia reveals that she is also pregnant after having an affair with Paul. To protect Lilia from Zenith's wrath, Rudeus convinces his mother to forgive her by having Paul take all the blame for the incident, despite realizing that she was the one who seduced him, which earns him Lilia's gratitude and loyalty. Zenith and Lilia give birth to two girls, called Norn and Aisha respectively and Rudeus considers leaving to study at the Ronoa Magic Academy after recieving a letter from Roxy, but Sylphiette does not want to part ways with him and he decides to look for a job to pay for their tuition. However, certain that Rudeus' attachment to Sylphiette is hindering his growth, his parents decide to separate them by entrusting their son to an old friend of the family, the beast woman Ghislayne who leaves the village with him.

• The affair was largely due to her and Paul being childhood friends, giving the excuse of them being comfortable with each other; otherwise Paul had been faithful to his wife, ignoring the other women in the village.
