Leo is a Sacred Beast that the Doldia Tribe was serving. It was said that he was born from the Sacred Tree and that together with his partner will be the savior that the Doldia Tribe were waiting.
Appearance[]
Leo's size is about 2 meters, he has short limbs, but he will grow larger since he is still just a puppy.
His fur is silver.
Personality[]
Despite being a holy symbol, Leo is playful and mischievous, often sneaking away from its sacred house to meet Rudeus, who saved him from smugglers.
Background[]
He is the Sacred Beast, a type of magical beast born once every few hundred years that don’t have a proper name. It only appeared when the world faced a crisis, and when it became an adult it would set out alongside with a hero, using its great power to save the world.

Plot[]
Rudeus attempting to rescue Leo in the Anime
With the Torrential Rainy Season approaching in Millis Continent, Leo was captured by a group of smugglers and he meets Rudeus who releases him from the Barrier Magic imprisoning him. But before they leave, Rudeus is captured by Gyes Dedoldia who brings him to the Dedoldia Village deep in the Great Forest.[1]

Physical Abilities[]
Leo can move at high speed to a target before they have a chance notice or draw their weapon and then bite their limb that breaks their bones just by shaking his head violently. Leo also possess strength that he can throw a target he has bitten spinning through the air that could cause them to pass out when they hit a wall. While Leo's real strength is not known but it is believed that if he uses his full strength, he could easily bite of the head of a Human.[2]
Intellectual Abilities[]
Leo is very intelligent that he is able to understand Beast God Language and is also toilet trained.[3]

Leo is protected by a strong that Orsted uses as a means for Rudeus to protect his family from Hitogami's schemes.[3]

It's not known what power Leo possesses but Orsted himself confirms that it's so high it simply can't be compared to the likes of Almanfi.[3]

- Those of the Beast Race can understand what he is saying. This, however, might be only limited to Leo's caretakers or active tribemen as Ghislaine is shown to be unable to understand his words specifically.
