Separate Journeys (それぞれの旅 Sorezore no tabi) is the eighteenth episode of the Mushoku Tensei anime series originally broadcasted on November 14, 2021.
Synopsis[]
After reconciling with Paul and parting ways to find the other's family member, Rudeus, Eris and Ruijerd take a ship to the central continent. Meanwhile, Roxie, Elinalise, and Talhand search for the Greyrat family, including Zenith. At the urging of Nokopara, whom she meets again in the city of Rikarisu, Roxy visits the village of the Migurds, her hometown. Roxy is not at peace with the fact that she ran away from home, but will she be reunited with her parents? [1]
Plot[]
WIP/Outline
Rudeus, Eris, and Ruijerd leaves Millishion, and sets off on a ship towards Central Continent, thanks to Paul Greyrat and Therese Latreia (cut content).
Roxy meets with Nokopara in Rikarisu and learns that a former team-member Blaze has passed away. At the mention of Dead End and the deadly Superd member, she nearly wets herself. Nokopara encourages her to meet her parents.
Roxy returns to her village and reunites with her parents. They share that Rudeus, Eris, and Ruijerd. Roxy faints when she hears that Ruijerd is a Superd.
After the visit, Roxy realises the party Dead End actually constitutes Rudeus. She returns to her lodgings in Rikarisu and walks into a scene where Elinalise is having sex. She reacts by casting Icicle Break and blows up the room.
Roxy, Elinalise, and Talhand sets off to find the missing members of the Greyrat family.

Differences with the light novel:
- Meeting Rodriguez, one of the disciple of Auber, originally happens on their way to Wind Port in Light Novel Volume 3 Chapter 14.
- All the Chapter 7: To the Central Continent was cut except that Rudeus and his group pick the boat to travel to the Central Continent. some scenes cut are:
- Rudeus and his group arriving to West Port and try to travel with the letter of presentation of Ruijerd.
- Rudeus Meeting his Aunt Therese Latreia and receiving her help to travel.
- The Anime add a new scene where the Dead End party have a conversation to his new objectives in the boat travel.
- In the Light Novel Roxy meets her parents and afterward Nokopara.
- The anime uses some scenes from the first chapter of Roxy Gets Serious manga when Roxy remembers how was her past in the village.

- Because there isn't a language barrier, like when Rudeus that know the language but Eris not, the anime show Roxy and her family speaking normally (Japanese/English) and not using the demon tongue.[2]
