Information

Sieghart Saladin Greyrat is the fourth child and second son of Rudeus Greyrat and the second child he had with his first wife Sylphiette Greyrat. He is the younger brother of Lucy Greyrat and the half-brother of Lara Greyrat, Ars Greyrat, Lily Greyrat and Christina Greyrat. He is the main protagonist of Jobless Oblige.

Appearance[]

Sieghart has the same emerald-green hair color as Sylphiette before the Teleport Incident and also has a face similar to Rudeus.[1]

By the time Sieg enters the Asura Royal Academy, he is confronted with soldiers until he cleared the misunderstanding that he is not a Superd. Due to his large physique and because of his green hair, he appears to be intimidating which causes some people to avoid contact with him.[2]

In his middle age, Sieg's face has countless scars, even his armor and sword shafts bore numerous wounds, the physical representation of "Witness to a thousand battles".

Personality[]

Unlike his sister Lara who is very stoic and hardly cries and his brother Ars who cries whenever Rudeus tries to hold him, Sieg is a very normal baby.

As he grew up, he admired the super heroes in the stories told by his father and tried to become one himself. He has a strong sense of justice and moonlights at night in a disguise to perform heroic deeds. He is very much like his father and struggles with his own purpose in life during his adolescence as he is unemployed.

He has a habit of shouting out his name before fighting his enemies, something the North God, his master, also does.

Background[]

Sieghart is the second child of Rudeus Greyrat and Sylpiette. Before Sieg was born, Perugius Dola tells Rudeus and Sylphy that should they have a son, bring him to Perugius to give him a name.[3]

In order establish closer ties with the Greyrat Family, Queen Ariel Anemoi Asura and Rudeus agrees to have an arranged marriage with their children, making Ars Greyrat to be the first candidate until Ars marries Aisha Greyrat, which makes Sieg, the second son be the next candidate to be married to Sariel Anemoi Asura even though they have never met until they enter the Asura Royal Academy.[2]

In the last chapter, Kalman III takes Sieghart Greyrat as disciple.

Jobless Oblige[]

Sieghart meets Pax Jr. and Sariel Anemoi Asura in Asura school, in the graduatasks, Pax Jr. asks him if he can help him build a kingdom, but he can't answer him because he thinks that Rudeus needs him to marry Sariel and strengthening his ties with Asura Kingdom, and in the end, he returns to Ranoa, being unemployed for a year, but in the night acts as a "Moonlight Knight", helping people and defeating criminals, one night Rudeus finds him, and after a talk, he decides to help Pax Jr., leaving Ranoa.

Decades later, Pax Jr. builds his kingdom and Sieg becomes the left hand of Pax Jr., as well as his strongest knight. He becomes the 5th «Seven Great World Powers», taking the place of Death God Randolph Marianne.

Power and Abilities[]

Even though when he was just a child, he was actually very strong. He could pick up really heavy boxes with much ease. He was also very intelligent as he has said that he is in the middle of the highest ranks in academics.

North God Sword Style[]

At a young age, he was taught the North God sword style by none other than the current North God, Kalman III. He has said that he may be the strongest student of his year in Ranoa Magic Academy, if not the strongest in the school. Awarded rank of North King by Kalman III at age 15. [4]

Aside from swordsmanship, Kalman III also teaches Sieg various techniques in hiding, sneak attacks, tracking targets despite these are from the different factions of the North God Style. Kalman III is versed to all these techniques being the North God that he used to hate these techniques outside his faction but after fighting Rudeus, he changed his mind and also teaches these techniques to Sieg[5]

Otherworlder Bloodline[]

As a descendant of Rudeus Greyrat, a reincarnated person whose soul originates from another world, Sieghart is immune to the effects of the curse placed on Orsted that induces hatred towards the Dragon God in all beings that originate from this world. He is also immune to Hitogami's ability to cause people to have automatic trust towards him.

Swallow[]

"North God Style Mystery "Swallow"" is a counter technique that crushes an opponent's fist at the expense of the user's fingers. Sieghart uses this technique when he is facing an opponent he cannot win cleanly.[5]

Moonlight Split[]

Sieg swings his Moon Glitter from the ground to an upward direction at high speed and overwhelmingly destructive manner that causes a massive shockwave causing anyone in the surrounding area to be swept away. The momentum then turns into a twin tornado that destroys even buildings on its path.[6]

Magic Abilities[]

Sieg is an Advanced Rank in Healing Magic but since this rank cannot restore severed limbs, Sieg also carries Scrolls of Healing with him.[5]

Trivia[]

  • Sylphiette had three dreams involving Sieghart being chased by a shadow. He was safe in two dreams but in the last dream, Sylphy was unable to save him.
  • His name was originally named Sieghart Greyrat, but Perugius gave him the additional name of Saladin.
  • He is the first child that Rudeus was anxious of because of his green hair and at the time of his birth, Almanfi told him that Perugius wants to meet him, leading him to think that he could be the reincarnation of Laplace. He even doubted Orsted, who told him that Sieg wasn't Laplace and brought him to Perugius.
  • The doctor, who helped Sylphiette deliver him, had a stiff expression after seeing his hair.
