Tales of the Six-Faced World (六面世界の物語 Roku-men Sekai no Monogatari) is a collection of five web-based novel series authored by Rifujin na Magonote, hosted on the website Shosetsuka ni Naro (abbreviated as Naro in this article). It takes place in the fictional world known as the Six-Faced World. Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu, the first story, serves as the base for the other four.
Mushoku Tensei[]
A 34-years-old virgin NEET with no work experience was kicked out of the house one day. While condemning himself, his life ends when he gets hit by a truck. When he woke up, he finds himself inside an infant's body; he had been reincarnated into another world.

Mushoku Tensei: I'll Seriously Try If I Go to Another World (無職転生 - 異世界行ったら本気だす- Mushoku Tensei - Isekai ittara Honki Dasu) is the main story that follows an autobiographical narrative of the protagonist Rudeus Greyrat who had been reincarnated into a new world and vowed to himself he'll be serious with life this time.
The series started with the Prologue released on November 22, 2012. The story has been divided into a serial of Parts (otherwise, called Volumes in translations) by the author, with each part exploring Rudeus, in his different stages of life as he grows up. During its run the story has made several impressions by topping the cumulative popularity ranking charts on Syosetsu at one point and has stayed in the top 10 ever since. The series came to a conclusion after compiling 23 volumes and running for a total of 286 individual chapters, on April 3, 2015.

Subjugation of the Great Dragon King: Preface to the Final Chapter (王竜王討伐 - 最終章にして序章 - Ō Ryūō Tōbatsu - Sai Shūshō ni Shite Joshō) is story that takes place 300 years prior to the main story of Mushoku Tensei, offering insight on the slaying of the Great Dragon King from different perspectives. Though it must be noted that this story is partly non-canon; according to the author, this was one of the prototypes for Mushoku Tensei.[4]
The story, consisting of 11 parts in total, was uploaded on a single day making it the one with the shortest serialization period out of the five stories.

Mushoku Tensei: Redundancy (無職転生 - 蛇足編 - Jabashi-hen) is a story that takes place between the events of Mushoku Tensei web-novel Chapter 259 and Epilogue. It is a collection of stories that focuses on various characters that the author was not able to give focus in the main story.
Publication started on May 19, 2015, a month after the end of the main story. It has been divided into 8 parts with each exploring different characters. It was originally 9 parts, but the author removed the chapters regarding the character Aisha Greyrat after a re-evaluation of the controversial content. The story came to a conclusion on September 9, 2017.

The series started during the run of Redundancy on May 1, 2016. Chronologically, this story takes place between the Redundancy Chapter's "Nanahoshi Gourmet" and "The Last One to Leave the Nest". It compiled into 5 parts and a total of 15 chapters during a short period of 5 days, and ended on May 5, 2016.

Old Dragon's Tale (古龍の昔話 - Kotatsu no Mukashibanashi) is a an origin story of the character who would later be known as the legendary Demon-Dragon King Laplace and how the ancient worlds were felled by the Dragon God. The serialization began on October 25, 2016 and has been divided into two parts. It ran for a total of 23 chapters and concluded on March 6, 2017.
